Shelter reservations for 2024 begin on March 1 at 8 a.m. for April 1 – October 31.

April 1 – October 31: shelters available for daily rentals from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

November 1 – March 31: shelters available first come, first serve and are not rentable.

If you want to reserve more than one shelter a day or your rental is less than 3 days from now, please call our office for more details.

Stuarts Draft Softball Field reservations for 2024 begin on March 1 at 8 a.m. for April 1 – October 31.

April 1 – October 31: softball fields available to rent for a defined 2.5 hour block of time.

November 1 – March 31: no softball field use authorized.

Permit requests will be issued for softball reservations. After staff have reviewed, groups will be contacted with approval and for payment.

Stuarts Draft Pool and Natural Chimneys Pool rentals begin on May 1 at 8 a.m. for the 2024 pool season.

May 31 – August 18: pools available to rent from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Deerfield Community Center Auditorium

Deerfield Community Center Auditorium

This open room can be used for meetings, birthday parties, family reunions or other small gatherings. The room is approximately 1,600 square feet and includes an elevated stage area. Restrooms are located within the building. Adjacent to outside playground and gravel parking area that can accommodate at least 40 vehicles. A supply of rectangular tables and folding chairs can be made available upon request for up to 50 individuals.

Reservations can be made 7 days a week between 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Requests are accepted up to 6 months in advance and no later than 2 weeks prior to rental date.

Please note, the Deerfield Library Station Branch is also operated out of this building; during operating hours library patrons will need to walk through the room to get to the library area.

Rental fee is $50 for each 2-hour time block requested. Please call our office at 540-245-5727 to make reservations.

Natural Chimneys Pool

The outdoor Junior Olympic size pool can be rented for a variety of private purposes. Within the pool facility are restrooms with a changing area, ample green space to spread out, water spray feature, ADA chair lift and more than a dozen lounge chairs. The pool depth ranges from zero depth entry to 5 feet.

Rentals are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Requests must be made no later than 2 weeks prior to rental date.

Rental fee is $165 for a total of 75 individuals (this includes non-swimmers).

Stuarts Draft Edgewood Softball Field

Softball fields at Stuarts Draft Park are available to reserve between April 1 – October 31. In efforts to accommodate as many interests as possible, each group can reserve up to two time blocks per week.

The field was originally designed and constructed based on fast-pitch softball field dimensions but can host other uses.

Edgewood Ballfield is located closer to Route 340. Parking is located in the gravel parking lot adjacent to the ballfield approximately 100 feet from the field.

Rental Fee is $15 per time block per day.
